information technology skills and knowledge individuals need to be
fluent in information technology.
The
Digital Workforce: Building Infotech Skills at the Speed of
Innovation
Employment in core IT occupations--computer scientists and
engineers, systems analysts, and computer programs-- has grown six
times faster than the overall U.S. job rate for more than 15 years.
This report by the U.S. Department of Commerce recommends steps key
